Grab your floral button down from last spring, a winter white sweater, and I guess you'll need your snow boots as your one smart nod to winter. Which by the way, shoes you can wear in snow and ice are hard to get right. I love a shirttail peeping out from below a sweater, especially when it's a cute pattern. A great way to disguise an unflattering crew neck sweater is with the collar of a button down shirt, too.

A column of navy with a pop of daffodil is just what I need to carry me through me til spring.

I even have on a t-shirt under my sweater because it's so cold! And don't shy away from adding more little touches of spring colors in your accessories.

Skinny jeans and ankle boots. I've about had enough. Not really, it's just that my toes are ready to feel the warm sun! Until then, I'll stick to the ole standby.

I have on tennis socks to keep my toes warm, but if you're still cold, add a sock that matches the color of your booties to keep from disrupting the line.

I'm living in faded jeans lately. Usually I make the switch in spring, but I can't wait any longer. I also have on my big flannel shirt and added a wooly pashmina.

Serenity blue is huge this year - in fact it's one of the colors of the year (there are two, the other being rose quartz). So start wearing it now and dream of ocean waves and pool boys I mean pools.

If it's not snowing, and I'm not in meetings, I'm usually wearing my cowboy boots. They are year round. But for a spring-y feel, I like a lighter shade of leather to start cheering everything up a bit.
