Black pants.

It's like it needs to be required dressing once you reach your 20's to own a great pair of black pants. It does seem like black pants are ubiquitous, in everyone's closet, and hanging on every rack in every store, but it's never the right ones that fit perfectly and make you look like you just lost 10 pounds. Until now.

We call these the perfect pair of black pants  because they fit everyone. These are more casual than dressy, but I can dress them up as well.

Warning: these pants have no hanger appeal. My photographer said the white ones looked like diaper pants on the rack. Haha. So you have to try them to believe it.

Here's why they are so good: they are a pull-on pant. I know. Hard to believe they could look good. But they do because they have a contoured waistband. I'm pointing it out to you even though it's hard to see in the picture.

This is the difference between a frumpy pull-on pant (or those awful ones with a side zip), and one that flatters the hips and waist. If there is a contoured waistband, it won't be frumpy. Moving along, this pant is washable! It's 76% viscose (my favorite manmade fabric), 2% polyamide and 3% elastane to give you the Goldilocks amount of stretch (not too much, not too little but just right). Did I mention they're comfortable?

They travel great because of the fabric content. And remember that pull-on waist? Yeah, super comfy for traveling.
