High Heel Boots, Wedges, and More! - Fall Boots with Barbara

Our contributors on the YourStyleVault Team are so excited that fall is right around the corner! I hope you've had a chance to read their posts! Fall toppers (just wait, because we will be talking about fall jackets and toppers soon!), and Fall boots are the two things that get me the most excited about the upcoming cooler season. You may be like that too!
When thinking about my boot wardrobe, I want to make sure I'm up to date with a variety of boots that will carry me through many different looks of the season, because I just don't feel like it's fall if I'm not wearing boots! I need my ankle boot with a heel for jeans, my ankle boot with a flat heel for shorter pants, cowboy boots, tall boots with a flat heel, and tall boots with a higher heel. For those of us who may not be able to wear a high heel, a wedge heel on ankle boots or tall boots work wonders to take your outfit to the next level. I have never met a heel I didn't LOVE! Although I'm 5'10" and tower over the majority of women I know, I will still wear a heel as my first choice. I have pretty much vowed that as long as I am able to wear them without my feet killing me, I will! So naturally I wanted to feature my black suede high heel boots for this post.
I have always loved suede as a beautiful alternative to kid leather. I previously wrote a blog about my suede tote bag. If you missed it, you can read it here. I think suede instantly dresses up a boot and can be worn endless ways.
I can pair my boots with my grey pencil skirt and blouse to wear to a casual luncheon, dinner or to the office. My skirt is a ponte knit and very form fitting, so I chose to wear my black silk blouse on the outside for this outfit. I always wear a belt at the waist or hip when I don't tuck in my blouse to give some definition to my waistline. And we always remind our clients to push up their sleeves to expose your forearm for a much more feminine look! A dressier boot is an awesome alternative to a dressy shoe for an outfit to wear to a cocktail party or dinner out with friends. I definitely would wear a tall boot with this jumpsuit instead of a bootie because of the pant length of the jumpsuit. And I love the idea of a boot instead of a strappy sandal or pump with this jumpsuit because its a little more unexpected option to wear in the fall.
I keep my jewelry classic with this look...pearls are my focal point and I keep my clutch very simple in design but it adds a little sassiness because it is a leopard print.
