The best time to score your holiday decor? Well the day after Christmas as everyone knows! All my little woodland purchases were bought over the years at after-Christmas sales, excepting the gifts of nature I foraged in the forest.

Shopping on the day after Christmas is much more enjoyable than on Black Friday. You've probably been cooped up inside a little longer during the Christmas break than Thanksgiving, where you've likely only been inside for a day. Getting out and about is because you'll run into all sorts of friends visiting from out of town.

I scored my little trees and some candles and some beautiful ribbon. None of which are difficult topack and store. You can also find ornaments, Christmas puzzles, even gifts you may want to hide away til next year. But, dolls, do not buy anything you would not have wanted at full price before Christmas. Don't spend money to save money.
