Time To Travel! Here's My New Favorite Airport Outfit

Tina, here.

It's that time of year when it seems everyone leaves me to go to the beach on family vacations. And I'm left all alone at home. To work. And eat alone. And watch Netflix. Alone. But I can still dream about what I would wear if I were going on vacation with you. It involves looking quite smart because I'd like to bring back the days when women actually "dressed" to travel. I know you like to be casual, so here is how to travel in style this summer.

Let's leave the lycra packed away in the suitcase and only allow it to come out for morning walks on the beach. Wear your softest jeans (these come in 2 lengths), bootcut or skinny, a t-shirt, and a sharp jacket. Planes are cold. Restaurants are cold. And you'll wear your jacket at night over a sundress for such chills. Add wedges you can slip in and out of easily for security (if you're not TSA-approved, and it's totally worth the hassle to register for it!).

I see women travel in sneakers. And that's great if you're making lots of connections and anticipating walking the airport during layovers. But, you know, they do make comfort shoes that are cute. I've got some ideas for you below you can shop if you're needing some.

The game-changer really is the jacket. I love the blazer and jeans look for travel. In summer, it's just too hot, so I switch to a lightweight jacket. You're incredulous I'd wear white on a plane (do you know me?), but I promise, it's not like the planes are that dirty and children are grabbing at you the whole time with muddy fingers. And there's that magic stain remover (all-natural and it actually works)I stockpile that you must have. But you don't have to wear white! I've got some other outfit ideas for you.
