Eight April Must-Haves

LBD

Two Dressy Dresses (one classic, one fun) for luncheons, parties and weddings.

(There are splurge options and more economical options to choose from below.)

Two Casual Dresses for showers, get-togethers and graduations.

A Going-Out Top and White Jeans (of course) for GNO's and date night.

Classic Dressy Pumps and Trendy Sandals to mix and match with your dresses.

You can easily incorporate these must-haves into your existing wardrobe by mixing and matching. If it's time to replace a classic dress you've had on standby for a few years, update it and choose from these.

Style tip: the trendy pieces you bought a couple years ago need to be pitched now! Wearing outdated trends is very aging. That's why you spend more on the classics, and less on the trends.

Now let's mix and match some outfits you could wear to all your upcoming events. There are plenty of options here to choose from so you can buy what you need, and mix in what you already have from your own closet.

What To Wear To A ...

Spring Luncheon - a dressy dress and pumps

lace dress

Spring Party or Garden Party - your dressy dress and fun heels (you can wear the same one and switch out your shoes)

Wedding Guest - wear your dressy dress again (be sure to consult the Dress Codes Cheat Sheet to make sure you know what your host expects you to wear!)

Graduations / Showers - casual dresses and comfortable pumps or wedges, esp. for outdoor venues

GNO and Date Night - white jeans and a going out top, or a sundress with sandalswhite jeans and a going out top
