Two Looks To Shine On New Year's Eve

Tina, here.

Do you enjoy New Year's Eve? I confess, I do not. Well, not like I do all the other holidays. But I can't bear to miss the stroke of midnight for fear of missing out - yes, I suffer greatly from FOMO (last child syndrome). I do however LOVE January 1st. I love a new start. My business slows down towards the end of December (very few people are in the mood to clean out their closets during the holidays), so I have a built-in break I use to reflect on questions like, Do I even still love clothes? Yes. Do I still love helping women (and men) discover what it's like to feel amazing in their own skin? Yes, very much. Do I love teaching how to wear your clothes better, and how to add to your wardrobe only what is perfect, and only what you truly need? I do. Do I love saving my clients money?Oh so much. And then there's always that pestering, lingering question no matter how well I feel about my calling and vocation, what the heck am I doing with my life? These questions are what I dwell on during that precious time between the end of one year and the beginning of the New Year. For me, this special time also collides with my birthday (parents, please avoid having December babies), so I am reeeaallly self-reflecting. Don't worry, I'm not quitting. I'm just always looking for ways to provide more meaningful service to you, my dears. I would love to hear from you. Insiders, you can post inside our private Facebook group, and there's also our public Facebook page. Let me know what you're thinking about as this year slides into another. What you want out of your wardrobe, what you want more of, less of, anything on your heart. And thank you my friends for continuing to allow me to share with you my musings on wardrobes and life.

Now, What To Wear New Year's Eve: Two Looks

Look One. For a bit of a formal occasion, like a sit-down dinner I like a cocktail pant. Dresses are fine and all, but doesn't everyone wear a dress? If you're blowing it out, then by all means wear your fanciest dress! But if you're among friends at home, take it easy. Sparkle is always appropriate.

I know what you're thinking. It's December. You'll be cold. Just add a jacket you can wear under your coat, and leave on inside.

Shop these looks below.

Look two. So you want to be a little more cool. Switch out your cocktail pants for some coated black jeans. And add heels.
