Winter To Spring Wardrobe Transition: The Must-Have Piece

Tina, here.

A friend of mine mentioned to me weeks ago she was looking for this particular must-have piece and I have thought HUNDREDS of times I needed to research and send her some suggestions. So, I hope I'm not too late, Miss Sweetwater, but here ya go. Here is your "Tina-approved" must-have Winter to Spring wardrobe transition piece that you and everyone need in their closets.

The Suede Jacket As A Transition Piece

More specifically, a light color suede jacket. Yes, suede is year-round. It's all about the mixing and matching. When it's April and you want to dress like Spring, but it's threatening snow, wear your tennis whites and a little light-color suede jacket, and you have solved this conundrum of what to wear when it's a cold Spring.

I'm wearing mine over a white sundress. In Winter, you may recall, I wore this same jacket with plaid and boots.

For Spring, just switch to lighter pairings like a sundress and wedges, and you've got a whole new outfit without even entering a store or making a purchase! Cost per wear at its finest!

You know I'm always one for a good turquoise piece of jewelry. (Funny story: I consigned this necklace last summer in a fit of purging and apparently losing my mind, and when I regained my senses, I went and bought it back. Paid the stupid tax on this one!)

More ways to wear your suede jacket this Spring:
(Pick any jacket to pair with either white jeans or light wash jeans. And any neutral top. I find it hard to find those in a Spring-weight. I like the one below.)

What about when it finally warms up? Lose the suede jacket!
